Placed.au is a forward-thinking and innovative recruitment firm originally based in Australia. We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our growing team in our brand-new open-plan office in Asoke (Soi 21).
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Accounting and Finance Supervisor to lead our accounting team. In this role, you will oversee daily accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with regulations. You will be responsible for managing the preparation of financial statements, supervising staff, and ensuring the accuracy of all financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to implement effective financial strategies to drive the company’s financial performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overseeing day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
- Ensuring the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, reports, and analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Assisting in budget creation, financial forecasting, and monitoring spending against the budget to ensure financial stability.
- Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of accountants and finance staff, ensuring their performance and professional development.
- Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard the organization’s financial assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assisting with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and supporting the audit process.
- Monitoring cash flow, managing bank accounts, and ensuring that the company has sufficient liquidity to meet its financial obligations.
- Ensuring adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
- Identifying and implementing improvements to accounting and financial processes for efficiency and accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
- 3-7 years of proven relevant experience.
- Must have a TOEIC score of 750 or above.
- Must have excellent English skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong ability to prepare and interpret financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) and reports.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial analysis to manage company expenses and projections.
- Expertise in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Microsoft Excel).
- Knowledge of tax regulations and experience with tax preparation and filings.
- Understanding of internal control systems and ability to assist with internal and external audits.
- Experience managing cash flow, banking relationships, and financial liquidity.
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations for cost savings and process improvements.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal financial regulations and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Ability to manage, guide, and motivate a team of accountants and financial professionals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain financial information clearly to stakeholders, executives, and team members.
- Analytical thinking to identify financial issues and implement solutions to improve financial processes or resolve discrepancies.
- Precision in financial reporting and ensuring accuracy in all accounting records.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- High standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct in handling financial information.
- Ability to adjust to changing financial regulations, business conditions, and company needs.
- Must be willing to work in Asoke (Soi 21), 5 days a week, between 8 am to 5 pm.

- Working Hours: Mon – Fri / 8.00 am – 5.00 pm
- Location: Bangkok, Thailand (Onsite)
