Placed.au is a forward-thinking and innovative recruitment firm originally based in Australia. We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our growing team in our brand-new open-plan office in Asoke (Soi 21).
We are seeking an Interpreter/Translator to facilitate communication and ensure accurate translation for our clients and team. This role requires strong linguistic skills and cultural understanding to bridge language barriers effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Translate written documents, reports, and correspondence accurately and efficiently.
- Provide verbal interpretation during meetings, calls, and presentations.
- Ensure translations retain the original tone, style, and intent of the content.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure clear communication across languages.
- Proofread and edit translations for accuracy and consistency.
- Stay updated on terminology and language trends relevant to the industry.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an interpreter or translator.
- Fluency in English and [target language(s)] with exceptional written and verbal skills.
- Must have a TOEIC score of 750 or above.
- Strong cultural awareness and ability to adapt language to suit different audiences.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Must be willing to work in Asoke (Soi 21), 5 days a week, between 8 am to 5 pm.
Working Details:
- Working Hours: Mon – Fri / 8.00 am – 5.00 pm
- Location: Bangkok, Thailand (Onsite)
