Placed.au is a forward-thinking and innovative recruitment firm originally based in Australia. We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our growing team in our brand-new open-plan office in Asoke (Soi 21).
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Risk Management Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact the company’s operations and financial health. You will analyze data, monitor risk exposures, and recommend strategies to reduce potential threats related to finance, operations, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of risk management frameworks, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to ensure the company’s risk management strategies are effective and aligned with business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identifying and assessing potential risks (financial, operational, regulatory, or market) that could affect the organization.
- Analyzing risk data, determining the likelihood of risks occurring, and evaluating their potential impact.
- Developing strategies and action plans to reduce or eliminate identified risks, and recommending controls to manage risk exposure.
- Preparing and presenting risk assessment reports to management, outlining findings, risks, and mitigation recommendations.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to risk management.
- Continuously monitoring risk management processes and reviewing existing risk controls to ensure they remain effective.
- Analyzing financial, operational, and market data to spot trends and potential risks that might arise.
- Working closely with other departments, such as finance, legal, and operations, to ensure effective risk management across the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (required).
- 3-7 years of proven relevant experience.
- Must have a TOEIC score of 750 or above.
- Must have excellent English skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to identify, assess, and evaluate risks across various aspects of the organization (financial, operational, market, regulatory).
- Proficient in analyzing large datasets to identify trends, predict risks, and make informed decisions (using tools like Excel, R, or Python).
- Skills in financial modeling or using specialized software to assess and predict risk scenarios (e.g., Crystal Ball, RiskWatch).
- Strong understanding of financial data and how it ties to risk exposure.
- Knowledge of strategies and tools for mitigating risks, including insurance, diversification, hedging, and policy changes.
- Understanding of laws and regulations related to risk management in various industries, such as SOX compliance, GDPR, or FERC.
- Familiarity with risk management software and platforms (e.g., SAS Risk Management, RiskWatch).
- Strong problem-solving skills to assess complex situations and identify risks effectively.
- Precision in identifying potential risks and their impact on the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex risk concepts and recommendations to senior management.
- Ability to make sound, data-driven decisions and recommend practical risk mitigation actions.
- Team-oriented, able to work cross-functionally with different departments (e.g., finance, IT, legal) to manage and mitigate risks.
- Ability to respond to evolving risk landscapes and adjust risk management strategies as needed.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Must be willing to work in Asoke (Soi 21), 5 days a week, between 8 am to 5 pm.

- Working Hours: Mon – Fri / 8.00 am – 5.00 pm
- Location: Bangkok, Thailand (Onsite)
